This is the video recording of Sofu Tehigahara's solo exhibition held in 1966 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Sogetsu School. In his 1963 solo exhibition, Sofu focused on his sculpture works , whereas in this exhibition, his versatility in art were lavishly presented; a compilation of ikebana, sculptures, calligraphy and exhibition design. It was in this exhibition when his masterpiece Torikami (Bird's Hair) was shown to the public. (Torikami is one of the most acclaimed works of his Kojiki (the Record of Ancient Matters of Japan).
